Valyuu journey
Valyuu’s journey began in 2020 in an apartment in the Markthal, Rotterdam, where the vision of bringing the circular economy to life took shape. Accepted into the Techstars Amsterdam accelerator in 2021, we launched our MVP with their backing and attracted pre-seed funding from top angels like Stefan van den Berg and the founders of Swapfiets. By 2022, we had launched our consumer marketplace and introduced trade-in modules for both online and offline retailers. With a successful seed round of €2.4M from investors like Rubio, Slingshot, and Techstars, we formed key partnerships and made the pivotal decision in 2024 to focus entirely on becoming an embedded recommerce service provider. Today, our mission remains clear: to bring your circular world to life through innovative, scalable solutions.
